Stories

We create storytelling projects, alongside our storytelling partners, that weave together a series of moʻolelo (stories), with the intention of equipping people to take collective action toward a more equitable and sustainable Hawaiʻi.

Wai connects every issue our communities face, from climate change, to housing and food insecurity, to extractive capitalism and militarism.

For our first storytelling project, we’re publishing a series both exploring the forces harming our wai, as well as uplifting examples of community resilience, of the kiaʻi successfully restoring both wai and waiwai.
